If you’re still searching for a fun Saturday activity, why not be benevolent, healthy, and indulgent?

Where, you may ask?

Sea Girt. Specifically, The Parker House, the celebrated restaurant/bar/game room, which hosts the annual “Parker House Fun Run,” a two mile jaunt for charity. But, as you may have guessed, it is not your typical race.

Dubbed as “the greatest running party at the Jersey Shore,” afterward, all participants are entitled to a full hour of “all-you-can-drink” Miller Lite beers in both the upstairs and downstairs bars.

Dehydrated and need water?

Surely, The Parker House can accommodate you, but why pass up imbibing with the remainder of your race mates? After all, it’s all about charity and fun.

So, to recap, the “race” is only two miles, beers are included in the deal,  it’s for a good cause, and best of all, it’s at the Jersey Shore.

No brainer.

Registration is at The Parker House, located at First Avenue and Beacon Boulevard in Sea Girt, beginning at 8 AM tomorrow. Cost is $40, which includes a t-shirt, a sweater, and all-you-can drink beer for an hour. The race begins at 9:47 AM.
